PRU 12 : The Aftermath ...
sori, pak cik cuti semalam. kene mengadap sultan pasal state exco lines-up! :D
to begin with, most of the voters only cast their vote for opposition as a protest. what they are protesting for? a lots apparently. and never in their minds actually to change the government. they just want the government to feel the pinch and wake up from their arrogance attitude as well as to have a stronger check & balance. unfortunately, too many cast the protest votes thus the 'tsunami' effect.
as i mentioned earlier, to loose Selangor to opposition is the most major blow to BN. in chinese news paper they printed pictures of shredded documents in state selangor offices. the handover yet to be done. is the state delaying the sworn in of new government? for what reasons? lu pikir lah sendiri ya ...
many souls in selangor will not sleep in peace. some may even not getting sleep at all. the skeletons in the cupboard will haunt them now.
late Dato' Zakaria of port klang passed away. this is just a good example whay people didn't vote for BN. he was clouded with corruption. BN dropped him but appointed his daughter in law? then it is clear that the BN are not actually fight againts corruption.
did you notice that BN flags and poster were not as grand and many this time around. more like a by-election and not general election. the oppositions posters are equal in number if not more than BN. why is that so? too confident?
a man told me that UMNO is too busy trying to wrestle Kelantan from PAS. he asked ... why bother? now they lost Penang and what will happen to the Malays there?
is it wrong to ask for Pak Lah and Dr Khir Toyo to resign? to ask Samy Vellu is a waste of time. he will say ... this is act of god!
PKR, DAP and PAS are all about just. now they have a platform to show what they can do. it will be interesting to see how they will fare. can they balance the racial sentiment against economy needs? Perak and Selangor have a coalition opposition government. these are rich states. Kedah, Kelantan and Penang have a majority of one opposition party government. two scenario of opposition government. quite an sexciting scenario isn't it?
there are many consequences due to the result of PRU 12. something that nobody ever thought for before. in term of political effect? laws and legislation? racial and ethnic? economy?
people have spoken. now they will have to face the consequences for 5 years to come.
and one thing one can't discount for near future or years to come, will PKR joint BN? will Anwar manage to path his way and become the PM?
time will tell ...
